American actor Zach Galifianakis shot into international recognition with his award winning role as the lovable but annoying Alan Garner in The Hangover movie franchise. The comedian began his career doing the rounds of stand-up clubs in LA and appeared in several comedy shows. Zach landed a role on a show called “Dog Bites Man” in which he played Alan Finger.
Being catapulted into the spotlight after the first release of The Hangover, Galifianakis brought his particular brand of comedy to many other movies including the road trip comedy “Due Date” in which he co-starred with Robert Downey Jr. and “Dinner for Schmucks” which landed him a Best Comedy Actor in Film award at the Comedy Awards.
